Scott Rickard is an Ontario based photographer. He graduated with a Photography Arts Diploma in 1972.
He has owned and operated a photographic studio and darkroom doing weddings and portraits. With such clients as the Yukon News, McBride Museum, Yukon Art Gallery, Faro Mine Corporation and Parks Canada, he documented the historic mail run with Cadets who came from across Canada. Their role was to carry the mail from Skagway, Alaska over the Chilkoot Pass to Dawson City, Yukon which took place during the famous gold rush.
Now semi-retired, he spends his time helping his wife Margaret with their florist shop in Peterborough. He still does some weddings but primarily focuses on black-and-white fine art photography, processing his own film and printing.
His hope is to some day publish a book containing his fine art photographs.
